Prime Minister of Thailand, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will arrive in the island on 12th July on a two-day official visit.
He will meet President Maithripala Sirisena on 12th July and the President will host him a dinner at President’s House on the same day.
On the following day, the visiting Prime Minister will have a breakfast meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees. Later, he will leave for Kandy and will visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden.
In the evening, Mr. Chan-o-cha will visit the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic, Thai Gallery of International Buddhist Museum, and call on the Mahanayaka Theras of the Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters.
He is scheduled to leave the country on the Friday evening (13th July).
