The 14th World Buddhist Sangha Youth (WBSY) Summit will be held in Sri Lanka from 27th - 30th October. The venues of the summit are BMICH, Provincial Council Conference Hall in Pallekale, Kandy and Millavana College Galewela.
More than 1,000 bhikkus representing Theravada, Mahayana, Thanthrayana, Vajrayana and Sen Buddhism will participate at this summit.
According to a proposal of Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam most of the sessions will be held in rural areas.
The conclusion ceremony of the summit will be held at the Millavana College Galewela under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
